*siiiiigh* I don't get it why Bioware did this to us. While it is technically, story-wise, a good or at least a clean ending to kill the protagonist, with all the drama and stuff, but maybe they could have done like they did with Dragon Age Origins and sort of let the players make their choice between a happy and sad ending. I'm sure that every Shepard would have deserved some happiness after saving everyone for the third time
Finished the game with the Shepard lives Destroy ending and I had the idea of an epilogue that is similar to this picture except it's Maleshep & Liara. (Best Maleshep romance while Garrus is the best Femshep).
I found it pretty surprising and amazing that I stumbled across this just as I started writing a fan fiction based off a scene very much like this...especially since I, too, am a Shakarian romancer. ^_^ I am seriously in love with all your artwork. They're all incredible pieces and even simple ones like this I find myself looking at for ages. I hope you never stop making them!
I wish to see that in the actual game. Or I wish I had the talent to write a fanfic or something, describing the follow-up of that damn scene where Shepard breathes. (cried most of the last half hour of ME3, btw x) ) You can FEEL it in this pic. Amazing work. Love your comic-like style too. And your Shep had a relationship with Garrus, which is awesome (mine does too )
If only I could have that hope... I couldn't let the geth die for no greater reason that the say-so of an antagonist I'd known for three minutes and may well have been lying his glowing blue butt off or just been plain wrong. Curse thee, BioWare, for breaking my heart
This though is gorgeous work - gorgeous and emotive
This is awesome! I like your line work and the details in this piece. It's not overwhelmed with color, but the selected use definitely stands out. And the desaturated overall color is pretty cool too. (obviously, the lights are meant to stand out.) The use of foreground, mid-ground, and background was executed very nicely. And your composition is splendid.
Great job on the characters. You really nailed their looks. And even with minimal background details, it still gives the feel of the Normandy with those three wires in the corner.
This piece really gives a feeling of hope after the Destroy Ending. Thank you for posting this.
